On Tuesday, 26.09.2023, pupils of the 8th, 9th and 10th grades of the schools in Geisenhausen experienced an exciting day that broadened their professional horizons. On the "Apprenticeship Day", various companies in the market town opened their doors to give the pupils an insight into their facilities and companies as well as to give them an understanding of various apprenticeship professions.

The DELTA Gruppe presented all of the company's apprenticeship professions to the participants and provided information about the diverse career opportunities. The 17 pupils had the opportunity to actively participate in a creative project in which they made a photo holder out of various materials, including a pipe. This practical exercise not only gave the young people an insight into the training profession of a plant mechanic (m/f/d) for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning technology and the manual skills required for the profession, but also showed how varied the work as a plant mechanic can be.

In addition, the students were given an exclusive guided tour of the warehouse, where they were able to see the various materials, machines and equipment.

The "Apprenticeship Day" not only served to deepen the pupils' understanding of different occupational fields, but also strengthened their motivation and future prospects. Such events help to support young people's educational and career choices. For us, it is therefore a matter of course to be involved in such activities.
