Unterneuhausen. With two groups of 25 children each in the kindergarten and three groups of 12 children each in the crèche, we are creating a suitably modern setting which will  meet the needs of the youngest members of the village. The structural work will be completed as early as September of this year and the work on the building shell in November. Completion, including the outdoor facilities, is planned for summer 2024.

The new building will be characterized by its modern but functional design, and also its location, which will be on the edge of the forest. In this project we wanted to place particular emphasis on creating a connection to nature in order to provide the children with an inspiring environment in which to play and learn.

Monika Schmidmüller, head of the children’s daycare facility said: "The fact that the new kindergarten is being built directly on the edge of the forest was my personal wish. I am convinced that this kindergarten will give the children a safe environment where they can feel happy and at ease."

As the architectural designers, we would like to express our thanks to all those involved in this project. Together with the village of Weimichl, we have developed the vision of a kindergarten that meets the highest standards of design and functionality.
